Four-goal second lifts Cyclones past Dutchmen
Four second-period goals helped the Listowel Cyclones earn a 5-2 win over the visiting Kitchener Dutchmen Friday night.
Listowel trailed 1-0 after the first period before taking over in the middle frame. Holdyn Lansink scored twice and had two assists, Chayse Herrfort picked up two goals and an assist, and Luke Israel added a single marker. Brayden Krieger collected two assists.
Evan Morrison made 17 saves in the win. Drayton Duckett and Sean Kawalec replied for Kitchener.
Lucas Patton stopped 17 shots. Listowel scored on both of its power plays, and Kitchener was 1-for-6 with the man advantage.
