Frist ever Grand Hooley Oct. 28 in St. Joseph’s

Late October seems like the perfect time for a Grand Hooley.

The Grand Hooley is an Oct. 28 fundraiser for the Antigonish Farmers’ Market Agricultural Centre, being held at the St. Joseph’s Hall.

The event, featuring musical entertainment by Ty Wallace, gets underway at 6:30 p.m.

Described as a celebration of harvest and local food, organizers are encouraging people to “gather with friends and family at our first ever Grand Hooley (a party with good fun, good food, good music and good folks), as we celebrate and give thanks for this year’s harvest with a five-course meal prepared by the ‘Kilted Chef ’ Alain Bosse.
