KIMBERLEY DENISE MACGRATH-JACKSON

Funeral service for the late Kimberley Denise Macgrath-jackson, 57, was held October 19 in Bethany United Church, East River St. Mary’s, with Derek Elsworth officiating.

Ms. Macgrath-jackson died October 13, 2018.

Born September 4, 1961, she was a daughter of Carl Theodore and Juanita Elizabeth Ann

(Fraser) Macgrath, East River St. Mary’s. She was a graduate of St. Martha’s Nursing School, Antigonish. She excelled at being an emergency nurse and a paramedic, Level 3. She was always a strong advocate for her patients.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her son, Avery Jackson, Clarence, N.S.; Avery’s father, Alan Jackson, Clarence; sister, Tammy (Dave) Maclaren, New Glasgow; two nieces, Kilti and Courtney Maclaren; nephew, Matthew (Melanie) Macgrath, Prince Edward Island; greatniece; Keely Macgrath; two greatnephews, Levi and Suttor Macgrath; many extended family members.

She was predeceased by brother, Richard Macgrath; grandparents, Farley and Margaret (Jordan) Fraser, Danial and Marion (Boggs) Macgrath.

Memorial donations may be made to the Mental Health Foundation, Clarence United Baptist Church, Maple Grove Cemetery, East River St., Mary’s or Bethany United Church, East River St. Mary’s.
