Fu­neral ser­vice for the late J. Regi­nald ‘Reg’ Uloth, 94, Antigo­nish, was held De­cem­ber 21 in St. Paul the Apos­tle Church, Antigo­nish, with Rev­erend Sue Chan­nen of­fi­ci­at­ing.

Mr. Uloth died De­cem­ber 17. 2018.

Eu­lo­gist at the fu­neral ser­vice was Har­vey Ford. Read­ers were Alonzo Red­dick, Emma Macisaac and Rhoda Uloth. Mu­sic was pro­vided by Hec­tor Macisaac and Joan Burchill.

Ac­tive pall­bear­ers were Ron Uloth, Shawn Uloth, Cole Macisaac, Caleb Macisaac, Rick Brown and Sandy Horne.

Hon­orary pall­bear­ers were Win­ston Eng­land, Bart Wain­wright, Alonzo Red­dick, Har­vey Ford, Wayne Austen and Hec­tor Macisaac.

Born in Guys­bor­ough County, he was a son of the late Richard and Olga (Eh­ler) Uloth. He served with the North Nova Sco­tia High­landers dur­ing the Sec­ond World Warand was a mem­ber of Royal Cana­dian Le­gion Branch #59, Antigo­nish. He worked for the Fed­eral De­part­ment of Trans­port in Mor­ris­town from 1963 un­til his re­tire­ment. He was an ac­tive vol­un­teer in his com­mu­nity; a mem­ber of Ma­sonic Lodge #116; a mem­ber of the ROMEO Club and a mem­ber of Antigo­nish Du­pli­cate Bridge.

He is sur­vived by his son, Row­land (Mary Ma­son) Burling­ton, On­tario; three daugh­ters, Olga (Rick Brown), Hin­ton, Al­berta; Mar­i­lyn Heeren, Hamil­ton, Ont.; Ann (Hec­tor Macisaac), Antigo­nish; nine grand­chil­dren, Ron­ald, Shawn, Rhoda, Lor­raine, James Emma, Amanda, Cole, Caleb; 11 great-grand­chil­dren; four great-great-grand­chil­dren; sis­ter, Nel­lie Gudger; brother,

Carl Uloth; numer­ous nieces and neph­ews.

He was pre­de­ceased by his first wife, Emma (Rud­der­ham); sec­ond wife, Verna June (Wes­ley); daugh­ter, Glo­ria; two broth­ers, Charles, Rus­sell.
