Thomas Stan­ley Ma­clean, 80, The Points, Rich­mond County, died De­cem­ber 27, 2018, at the Cape Bre­ton Re­gional Hos­pi­tal.

Born in Glace Bay he was a son of the late George An­dre

‘Skip’ and Emma Maude ‘Toots’ Ma­clean. He was em­ployed as a de­liv­ery driver with Mc­fad­gen Bak­ery for many years. He later re­tired as a driver with Canada Post, driv­ing the Port Hawkes­bury to Bad­deck route for many years. A col­lec­tor of many things, he was most con­tent at home in The Points, driv­ing his trac­tor on the prop­erty. He will be missed by his dog Princess.

He is sur­vived by his wife of 46 years, the for­mer Linda Mal­colm; daugh­ter, Dar­lene Bud­den, Port Hawkes­bury; son, Joseph, Maui Hawaii; two grand­chil­dren, Shan­non (Stephanie) Cov­ing­ton, Port Hawkes­bury; Dar­lene Pearl Cov­ing­ton, Donkin; four great­grand­chil­dren, Josh, Chan­dler, James, Ryan; two sis­ters, Pearl (Eve), Glace Bay; Con­nie (Kevin) Ford, Char­lot­te­town P.E.I.; two brothers, Phillip (Pauline), Glace Bay; David (Heather), Syd­ney; sis­ter-in-law, Ce­cilia Ma­clean.

He was pre­de­ceased by his son, Tommy; brothers George Jackie and Joey, sis­ter, Ce­cilia.
