SUNDAY Exploits Valley - Exploits Aboriginal Community Group (EACG) hosts Bernie’s Puktew every second Sunday from 6-7:30 p.m. This is a youth group and is led by the interests of the youth in the community. Activities are centered around the Mik’maq culture and include drumming, songs, talking circle, traditional crafts and cultural teachings. Any family in the community interested in learning more about the Mik’maq culture or just want to celebrate and honour these traditions are welcome. Gander - The Hooking Matters ONGOING SNOW ANGELS Grand Falls-Windsor - A community interest group that creates awareness about seniors and people with disabilities who can’t shovel their snow by encouraging people to nominate snow angels for draw prizes supported by businesses, community organizations, and individuals. @gfwsnowangel2018 EVERY WEEK WEDNESDAY Grand Falls-Windsor – T.U.F.F (Together Uniting Families Forever) for Moms and Tots takes place Wednesdays from 9-11 a.m. at Evangel Pentecostal Church. This program, for children aged 0-5 includes an activity and snack. Botwood - Story time program at the Botwood Kinsmen Public Library for children aged 0-5, every ANNUAL TREE OF LOVE Change Islands – St. Margaret’s Anglican Church will be having their Annual Tree of Love again this year.
