Spence gets new team

Grant Spence of Chatham has a goal and an as­sist in three games since be­ing traded to the Ge­orge­town Raiders.

The 18-year-old for­ward is in his first sea­son in the On­tario Ju­nior Hockey League.

Spence had six goals and 10 as­sists in 29 games with the North York Rangers, who sent him to Ge­orge­town in ex­change for 20-year-old for­ward Jonathan Hamp­ton.

Spence made his ju­nior de­but last sea­son with the Chatham Ma­roons. He was their lead­ing rookie scorer with 41 points in 50 games.
