Volunteers made a difference on Dec. 25

The Chatham Daily News - - OPINION -

On Christmas morning, a group of volunteers came together to assist with the Community Christmas Dinner that was held at the Spirit and Life Centre.

My deepest thanks and gratitude extends to our community merchants, Knights of Columbus, friends and fellow employees at Union Gas for your generous donations and turkeys. Thank you to all volunteers for your long hours of work, CK Fire Service for serving the meal and Father Jim Higgins for the use of the facilities.

If it were not for all donors and volunteers, this dinner would not have been the success that it was. Chatham-Kent is a very caring community with so many wonderful people who reach out and give so much to helping others. Thank you for making a difference.

Nancy Kohajda Chatham-Kent
