A 21-year-old Ridgetown man is facing an impaired driving charge in connection to a single-vehicle crash.
Chatham-Kent police responded to the crash on Cathcart Street near Harold Street in Ridgetown just before 11 a.m. Thursday. Police believed the man was driving while under the influence of alcohol so he was arrested. He was taken to police headquarters for further breath tests, which resulted in a charge of having a blood-alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.
He was released with a Feb. 1 court date.
