HALLORAN, Addison Marie

-

At a young age of nine years old, Addi lived a full life. A life of smiles, laughter, adventures, and love. Addi was born a fighter, and triumphed through many battles. On Wednesday, November 6, 2019 sweet Addi gained her wings, and will now rest. Among the angels, Addi can now sing, dance, and walk barefoot in the sand. Born to Tyler and Ashley Halloran of Porters Lake, Addi will be missed and treasured as an exceptional and joyful daughter. Big sister to her brother, Landyn (7) and sister, Kenzie (4), Addi will always be remembered for her love of loud country music and cuddles. Along with her cousins, Jared, Charlotte, Brooke, Logan, Kasey, Bailee, and Braxton, they will carry on her spirit. Addi’s memory will be treasured by grandparents, Keith and Brenda Bayers, Leo and Helen Halloran, Max and Donna Mills, and great-grandmother, Catherine Bayers. Addi was niece to special aunts and uncles, Debbie and Nathan Walsh, Whitney Halloran, Jera-Lee Halloran, Jennifer and James Britz, Cody Newcombe and Catharine McMaster. To Addi’s friends who were also complex warriors, and their families, we give deep thanks for your support during Addi’s journey. Addi enjoyed her school days with her O’Connell Drive family. Your smiles, reading, and clapping made every day better for her. We would like to sincerely thank all of the specialists whom we worked with over Addi’s nine years. Special thanks to Dr. Colwell, Shauna Wilcox, Dr. Foster, Dr. Chowdhury, Dr. Bohrer, Debbie Balsor, Sheri Rose, and the PICU nurses who spent her last days with us: Julie, Katie, Alex, Taylor, and Maggie. Special thanks to Rowlings Funeral Home. Addi, without having to try, changed the world. Words can’t describe the life lessons etched in our hearts and minds by our little girl in the time we were blessed to have her here on earth. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 9th from 1-4 p.m. in Petpeswick Yacht Club. Paint your nails pink for Addi. Donations in Addi’s honour can be made to the IWK Pediatric Medical Unit or IWK Emergency Department.
