PELRINE, Wayne Andrew

Age 60 years of Larry’s River, Guysborough Co., passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, October 24, 2019. Wayne was born in Muskegon, Mich. on May 9, 1959. He was a son of the late Eva and Andrew Pelrine. Wayne is survived by his sisters, Francine Pelrine, Smyrna, Del.; and Christine (David) Ross of Wallingford, Penn.; nephews, Andy and Chad Shaner of Brooklyn, N.Y.; niece, Kathleen Ross (Armando) Taborga and great-niece, Emma and great-nephews, Ryan and Liam. After graduating high school Wayne worked at Aczo Chemical Company and was a volunteer firefighter for the Clayton Fire Company. Wayne graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Civil Engineering and worked for Bancroft Construction for several years. After leaving office work behind, Wayne went to trucking school to learn how to drive an 18 wheeler; this took him across the United States for several years. Wayne moved to Larry’s River in 2015. Wayne loved the outdoors; he enjoyed fishing and woodworking. A memorial service for Wayne will be held in St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Larry’s River on Wednesday, November 13th at 11 a.m. with Father Frank Pellerin officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Donations may be made in memory of Wayne to St. Peter’s Church, Larry’s River. Arrangements are under the care of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough.
