Age 60 years of Larry’s River, Guysboroug­h Co., passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, October 24, 2019. Wayne was born in Muskegon, Mich. on May 9, 1959. He was a son of the late Eva and Andrew Pelrine. Wayne is survived by his sisters, Francine Pelrine, Smyrna, Del.; and Christine (David) Ross of Wallingfor­d, Penn.; nephews, Andy and Chad Shaner of Brooklyn, N.Y.; niece, Kathleen Ross (Armando) Taborga and great-niece, Emma and great-nephews, Ryan and Liam. After graduating high school Wayne worked at Aczo Chemical Company and was a volunteer firefighte­r for the Clayton Fire Company. Wayne graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Civil Engineerin­g and worked for Bancroft Constructi­on for several years. After leaving office work behind, Wayne went to trucking school to learn how to drive an 18 wheeler; this took him across the United States for several years. Wayne moved to Larry’s River in 2015. Wayne loved the outdoors; he enjoyed fishing and woodworkin­g. A memorial service for Wayne will be held in St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Larry’s River on Wednesday, November 13th at 11 a.m. with Father Frank Pellerin officiatin­g. Burial in the parish cemetery. Donations may be made in memory of Wayne to St. Peter’s Church, Larry’s River. Arrangemen­ts are under the care of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysboroug­h.
