KEELER (Bruhm), Joan Barbara

Age 88, of Dartmouth, passed away suddenly, on December 10, 2019, in Glasgow Hall, Parkland at the Lakes. Born in West Northfield, Lunenburg Co., she was a daughter of the late Archibald and Hazel (Mossman) Bruhm. In her younger days, she was a member of West Northfield Lutheran Church. After marrying Gordon, who was a member of the RCMP, they were required to live in many different communities in Nova Scotia. Joan always loved to return to the homestead in West Northfield and spend summers there with her family. She is survived by her sons, Gregory (Cheryl) and Gordon (Nancy); grandsons, Curtis (Jennifer) and Gregory and granddaughter, Sarah; and many nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gordon; son, Michael; sisters, Doris, Erna, Edith and Margaret; brothers, Murray and Eugene. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 17th in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, Rev. James Haughn officiating. Burial in Maple Grove Cemetery, West Northfield, Lunenburg Co. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
