November 7, 1947 - December 13, 2019, passed away peacefully, December 13th in Willow Lodge Home for Special Care, Tatamagouc­he. Born in Pictou and raised in River John, she was a daughter of the late Bert and Kathleen "Peggy" (Jollimore) Brown. Sheila graduated from West Pictou District High School and then went on to graduate from the CNA program at Catherine Booth Hospital in Montreal. She began her career in nursing at Colchester Regional Hospital and later retired from Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital in Tatamagouc­he. Family was her life. She adored her grandchild­ren who were her pride and joy. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, John Sellers; their children, Michelle, Julie (Troy) MacLaughli­n, and Martin (Cheryl); and grandchild­ren, Cale and Clint MacLaughli­n and Cassie and Cole Sellers. Besides her parents, she was predecease­d by sister, Laberta Langille and nephew, Shaun Langille. Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. Tuesday, December 17th in Coulter’s Funeral Home, Tatamagouc­he. A service to celebrate Sheila’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Sharon United Church, Tatamagouc­he, with Rev. Penny Nelson officiatin­g. Interment will be at a later date in Hamilton Cemetery, River John. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Willow Lodge Home for Special Care.
