Of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, December 12, 2019 in Dartmouth at the age of 58. Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Dan; children, Daniel (Bria) Ryman, Leah (Marc) Cloutier. Sharon was the proud grandmothe­r of Rohan, Gabriella, Danielle, Solomon and Eleanor. She is also survived by her brother, Wayne Collicutt; several nieces, nephew, cousins and many wonderful friends. Sharon was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mildred Collicutt (of Dartmouth). Sharon was a caring mother and devoted wife, who adored her time with her family. She never missed a moment or a milestone with her children or grandchild­ren, they were one of the greatest joys in her life. Sharon loved travelling the world with her husband Dan, she would have followed him anywhere, just to be with him. Sharon spent 50 years of summers with her family on the Amherst Shore, with the last 17 years enjoying her own cottage with her husband, family and friends. Over her life she has made many dear and valued friends, that were invaluable in their support for Sharon over the last few months. Sharon battled cancer for the better part of the year and through it all she always had an optimistic view on life. She never let the illness take away the joy she found in everyday. She will be truly missed by all that have known and loved her. A service will be held Thursday, December 19th at 2 p.m. in Grace United Church (corner King and Ochterlone­y Streets) in Dartmouth with a reception to follow in the church hall. Rev. Stephen Fram will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Sharon’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
