SAMPSON, Marilyn Cecilia

Age 76 passed away December 12, 2019 in QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Dorothy Goodhew (of Halifax). She is survived by her sons, William (Tanya), Thomas (Rose), Fred (Theresa), Scott, Mark (Shannon); grandkids, Colin, Cameron, Skylar, Amanda, Megan, Charlene, Kendra and Sarah; adopted son, Rick Stevens; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great-grandkids; and lots of close family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Fredrick; and her brother, Donald Goodhew (of Halifax). Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of QEII 4.1 section and the Dixon Dialysis Department for all they did to help her over the years. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 17th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St., Halifax where Memorial service will also take place on Wednesday, December 18th at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow.
