HAVILL, Reginald Walter "Reggie"
"It’s a Beautiful Life". With so much love and great sadness, we, the family, announce the passing of the most amazing man to ever touch our lives, Reginald Walter Havill. Reginald, age 90, of Berwick, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 12:42 p.m. at his home, surrounded by his loving family as they read from his Bible, told unforgettable stories and told him how much they loved every part of him. Reggie was born in Armdale on October 2, 1929. Wonder was born in his eyes on that day. He lived a life full of adventure, kindness, generosity, compassion, creativity, strength and above all, Reggie walked through life with unwavering faith and unfailing love. He saw life as a beautiful masterpiece. He magnified the good in everyone and always left people better than when he found them. An avid art and antique collector, Reggie found beauty in everything. He found beauty in peoples shortcomings, he found beauty in the beach stones collected. He found everything to be so interesting. His most prized possessions were his family, especially his beloved wife, Sharon (Sutherland), a love like no other. "We had the greatest love of all time" Reggie would often say. He is also survived by daughter, Lisa (Michael) Landry, Berwick; daughter-in-law, Tracy Churchill, Kentville; grandchildren, Logan, Bronson and Taye; great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Havill, Halifax; and Lois Manuel, Abbotsford, B.C.; brother-in-law, Gary (Iris) Sutherland, Coldbrook; nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his son, Dean; sister, Joyce; brothers, Doug, Keith, Stanley and Bruce; brother-inlaw, Jackie Sutherland. By request, there will be no visitation. A celebration of Reggie’s life, followed by a reception, will take place at 3 p.m. Saturday, December 21st in White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, nephew Bruce Havill officating.
