Age 93, passed away on July 8, 2020 in Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born June 17, 1927, in Windsor, to the late Bertha ( Whitehead) and Milton Haines. Marion was a loving wife, mother, grandmothe­r, great-grandmothe­r and great great-grandmothe­r. Her family was everything to her, as was the farm she and her husband worked together. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and always made time to spend with them, whether in the kitchen, in the fields or orchard or the barn, she made work and family a priority. She also loved to travel and took several trips with family. Marion is survived by her children, Joan Hunter, Sandra Johnson, Elaine (Tom) Kane, Karen ( David) Palmer, Gregory Johnson (Tammy Singleton), Garry Johnson (Deborah Mcdermott), Brian Johnson (Donna Tracey), Charlene Johnson, and Anthony Johnson (Kim Crocker); daughter-in-law, Phyllis Johnson; sisters, Ruby Woods and Gloria Haines; brother, Lawrence Haines; grandsons, Dan Johnson, Robert Kane, Darcy Johnson, and Devon Palmer; granddaugh­ters, Charmaine Kane, Belinda Johnson, Joelene Johnson, Kayla Crocker, and Samantha Mcdermott; greatgrand­children, Alyshia Kane, Sonya Kane, Tyler Zinc, Patrick Johnson, Raven Rose Kane, Gavin Coleman-butler, Lucis Coleman-butler, Abbygail Thompson, Dante Johnson and Zander Kane; great great-grandchild­ren, Colten, Abel and Nora Jean; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Marion was predecease­d by her husband, Robert Freeman Johnson and son, Robert David Johnson; sisters, Blanche Haines, Jennifer Haines and Linden Phelan; and brothers, Reid, John, Raymond, Calvin, Garnet and Ira. The family would like to say a very special thank you to Grand View Manor for all the care and compassion shown to their mother during her lengthy stay there. There will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will take place in Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Kings Co., at a later date.
