June 7, 1981Novemb­er 23, 2020 - It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Alexander ( Sandy) Robinson on November 23rd in Nelson, British Columbia. Sandy was formerly from Cape Breton, and resided for many years in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia. Sandy is survived by his mother, Roberta Robinson (Doug), father, Gerard Robinson, daughters, Casey and Alley Myers; brother, Craig Robinson ( Kim); sister, Jennifer Baird (Matt); step-brother, Robin Vardy (Sabrina); step-sister, Beth Macdonald ( Josh); nieces, Samantha, Savanah, Erika, Alexis, Jocelyn, Alix and Grace; nephews, Henry, Tristin, Jace and Jesse. Sandy is also survived by paternal grandmothe­r, Eunice Robinson; maternal grandfathe­r, Frank Silver; partner, Diana Mcmullin; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. All of Sandy’s family and friends thought the world of him and will miss him dearly. Sandy was predecease­d by his maternal grandmothe­r, Jenny Silver; paternal grandfathe­r, Alex Robinson; and paternal, aunt Wanda Buffet. Sandy had a passion for animals and loved to bring home strays as a young boy. Sandy played in hockey in his early years and loved to go fishing with his uncles and his daughters. Sandy had a gift for carpentry. Arrangemen­ts are being made for service on a later date, due to current COVID-19 restrictio­ns.
