GEORGE-EANS, Theresa J.

-

Mother’s hold their Children’s hands for a short while, but hold their Hearts Forever. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our much-loved Theresa J. GeorgeEans, age 45, of Grand Forks, B.C., and formerly of Hubbards. She was the beloved wife and soul-mate of Justin Eans, Grand Forks, B.C./ Spokane, Wash.; cherished daughter of Connie George, Hubbards; treasured and precious sister of Patricia George-zwicker, Chester Basin; and Cheryl-ann George-clarke, Halifax. She was predeceased by her father, Joseph R. George (Hubbards); and her "Grasshopper" and Nanny, John and Phyllis Baker (Hubbards). Gone from us way too soon, we will always remember her true and kind spirit and her great love of nature and animals, especially kitties who needed extra love; her bright smile and laughter and quick wit would brighten anyone’s day. She was in the first graduating class from the Forest Heights Community School in Chester Basin, and in 1998 graduated from Saint Mary’s University with a BA degree. She then took a job with Farmer’s Dairy, and later met and married the love of her life (her butter-cup - Justin), and moved to British Columbia. The body has been entrusted to the care of Grand Forks Funeral Home and cremation will take place (but delays are being experienced because of high COVID-19 numbers). She will then, as with most Nova Scotians, come home, with interment (date not yet determined) to be with her Dad and grandparents in St. George’s Anglican Cemetery in East River. The family asks that in Theresa’s memory you do an act of kindness.

"We love you to the moon, and back".
