Featuring festive four-legged friends
Earlier this month, an email came from Lee Edgar.
That is not unusual. Lee is a somewhat regular contributor to Cindy’s Snapshot feature. Lee loves nature and the outdoors and judging by the photo that came with her letter, her beautiful dog too.
With December underway, Lee thought it would be fun to have a little photoshoot with Miss Pepper. This gorgeous, willing participant is a 14- monthold Blue Merle Shetland Sheep Dog who hangs her hat in Cole Harbour, N. S.
And just like that, I wanted to see more. I love animals and I know that many of you do too, so, in keeping with the spirit of the season, let’s share some seasonal pet pics.
I realize not all the pets out there enjoy dressing up, so don’t feel like that’s necessary. For example, our cat Dougal- Archie would not stand for a hat but loves to cuddle on the Christmas tree skirt. It becomes his bed until Jan. 6 when the tree comes down.
I’ll be taking some time off at Christmas and would love to fill the weather page with fabulous photos of pets from across Atlantic Canada.
Be creative — silly is encouraged too it’s been one heck of a year.
Please email your photos to weathermail@weatherbyday.ca
Don’t forget to include your name, your pet’s name and where you live.
I can’t wait to see and
share your photographs.
