December 31, 1951-January 3, 2021. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Deborah Ann Sangster on Sunday, January 3rd at the age of 69. After a brief and courageous battle with ALS, she passed peacefully with her youngest child and faithful caregiver, Joseph Donald Sangster, by her side. Debbie is survived by her children who were proud to call her mom: Jason Howarth (Isabelle Dorval), Christian Carter (Katie) and Joseph Donald Sangster. A kid at heart, cherished and proud Nanny to her loving grandchild­ren, Hunter, Jackson, Logan, Colby, Evan and Mackayla. Debbie is also survived by her mother, Marilyn (Harrington) Leblanc; brothers, Mike, Bob (Susan), and Richard (Marie) as well as her sister, Dianne (Brad). Deborah was predecease­d by her daughter, Julie and was looking forward to joining her in heaven. In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother and grandmothe­r, Debbie also had a lifelong love for music and was very active with the Nova Scotia Mass Choir. Debbie will be deeply missed by friends and family alike. A Celebratio­n of Life will be held on Friday, January 15th at 1 p.m., by invitation only in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville.
