ANDREWS, Sharon Diane

-

Age 75 of Mushaboom, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2021, in Harbourview Lodge, Sheet Harbour. Born in Sheet Harbour on January 8, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Noble and Eileen Boutilier. Mom and Dad were married on April 28, 1962 and were content living a simplistic life, material possessions were never a priority; they loved one another and their children unconditionally. There may have been times of limited cash, but always unlimited love. As children we never heard harsh words between our parents. Mom was often referred to as a "fireball" - she had lots of energy and never hesitated to speak her mind. Mom and Dad enjoyed trips to Florida, daily walks and day trips to visit family and friends. They welcomed visitors to their home where a homecooked meal and dessert was served. Mom enjoyed working with the public and spent many years at the local Sears Order office, but her years as a personal care/homecare worker were her most satisfying. Even in retirement she continued to visit the many clients who became friends. Mom will be remembered for her huge heart and acts of kindness. She distributed baked goods to family, friends and neighbours and visited people who were ill or in need whether it was to play a game of cards, complete a crossword or read to them. Dad was always her priority and she cared for Dad until her own health declined. She was predeceased by husband, Jimmie; brother, Jimmie; and one grandchild. She is survived by son, Jamie (Susan) Andrews, Sackville; daughters, Marie Andrews, Sheet Harbour; Carla (Don) Carbno, Sheet Harbour; and Bobbi Burgoyne, Fall River; 10 grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; brother, Randy Boutilier, Wyses Corner. Special thanks to the outstanding staff at Harbourview Lodge. Donations in Mom’s name can be made to Harbourview Lodge or the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia. Cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Sharing of memories and condolences may be sent to the family by email: familyandrews2021@gmail.com
