Age 95 of Minasville. It is with broken hearts we announce her passing on February 25, 2021 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Walton on February 21, 1926 she was a daughter of the late William and Doris (Conley) Davis. Florence loved hooking mats, quilting and knitting until age 93. She enjoyed old-time music with Maple Sugar and Strawberry Roan, jam sessions were her favorite. Florence was famous for her witty sayings. She is survived by sons, Ron (Elaine), Moose Brook; Rick ( Anne), Cornwall, P.E.I.; Rod (Wilma), Dartmouth; grandchild­ren, Blaine (Kathy), Bonnie (Wayne), Belinda (Cory), Bethany (Cory) Macdonald, Maura (Victor) Van Hul, John ( Britney) Munro; grandson-in-law, Jamie (Sherri) Rines; greatgrand­children, Matt (Kayla) and Scott Rines, Megan Singer, Lexie and Braya Macdonald, and Rueni and Cella Van Hul. Florence was predecease­d by husband, Harry; daughter, Anne Munro; and siblings Etta, Lillian and Creighton. Cremation has taken place, there will be a private family graveside service held in Moose Brook Cemetery at a later date.
