STILLMAN, Fenton Herbert
Age 85 of Hammonds Plains. Born in Yarmouth, son of William H. Stillman and Grace (Foley) Stillman. He was a Motorman for CN Rail his whole working life from a young man until his retirement. He always enjoyed the Stillman family tradition of putting in the ice at the Halifax Curling Club every fall and maintaining it all season. Fenton was a hard-working entrepreneur and didn’t stop until his physical limitations slowed him down. He was well-loved by his family and his many acquaintances appreciated his sense of humour. He will be sadly missed. He is survived by his wife, Joan Stillman; daughters, Sandi Norman (Brian), Michelle Grace; son, Bill Stillman (Wendy); brother, Bobby Stillman (Lucille). Also by his grandaughters, Melanie Shattuck, Aislinn Norman, Nicole Armstrong, Rene Hammond, Melissa Savage, Jenna Savage; great-grandchildren, Christian Shattuck, Deegan Edwards; neices and a nephew. Fenton was predeceased by his mother and father; granddaughter, Jaime Shattuck; and grandson, Mark Anthony. There will be no visitation due to COVID-19. Graveside ceremony will be held in late spring. In leiu of flowers, donations may be made to Souls Harbour Rescue Mission,
