60th Wedding Anniversary

On February 25, Leon and Judith Major (nee Strand) celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple has a long history with Nova Scotia. Leon is the founding artistic director of the Neptune Theatre and, as a child, Judith spent her summers at St Margaret’s Bay. For over a decade, the couple have been splitting their time between Washington DC and Mahone Bay on the South Shore. They have four children and six grandchildren.
