Age 62 of Halifax, sadly passed away, Sunday, February 28, 2021 in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII, after a terminal diagnosis of Cancer. Bonnie, the daughter of the late Percy and Faye Mcquinn (Argyle Head), she is survived by brother, Glenn (Nanci), Halifax; sisters, Wanda, Sackville; Paula, West Pubnico; Gina ( Mark), Guysboroug­h; as well as her "boys" whom she dearly loved. Scott, Andrew, Rene, Eric and Logan; as well as four great nieces and nephews. Bonnie worked for the Nova Scotia Savings & Loans, Halifax and later with the Provincial Government for 15 years. After retirement she chose to work as a Personal Health Care Provider which she excelled at for 20 years. It was more than a job, but more of an expression of her huge heart and loving nature, as well as her tremendous sense of humor. She provided comfort and love to the many who were privileged to receive her care. As requested by "Bon" there is to be no visitation or funeral service. She has requested cremation. There will be an intimate family celebratio­n of Bon’s life at a later date, which will include music, singsong and laughter all of which she loved. Bonnie’s family wish to express their sincere gratitude for the wonderful care and respect she was shown during her short stay at the Halifax Infirmary on ward 8-2, by the nurses and many Doctors who attended to her.
