Jacklyn was born in Saint John, N.B., daughter of the late Arthur Hugh and Elizabeth "Bessie" Mabel (Gorham) Phillips. She passed away peacefully in the VG Site QEII, Halifax on June 15, 2021. Jacklyn was a longtime employee of the Bedford Bank of Nova Scotia and resided for her last 16 years at the Bedford Berkley where she enjoyed many friends and all the staff members. She enjoyed traveling, having made many trips to Europe, the U.S. and many parts of Canada to visit family. She is predecease­d by her husband of sixty years, Louis Donald Coyle. Jacklyn is survived by daughter, Dianne (Art) Horne; sons, David (Trish), Robert and Paul. Predecease­d by son, John; daughter Carolyn; and daughter-in-law, Barbara Snowdon. Survived by sisters, Elizabeth and Marjorie Phillips; and sister-in-law, Adeline Phillips; was predecease­d by brothers, Father William Phillips and Francis Phillips. Survived by grandchild­ren, Jerry (Angie), Susan (Mike), Andrew (Sara), Jamie-lynn (Bill), Sean (Juliann), Laura (Jeff), Kaylee and Blane (Shari); predecease­d by granddaugh­ter, Joanne. Survived by great-grandchild­ren, Elly, Joey, Lauren, Liam, Abi, Josh, Brooklyn, Mya, Von and Noah. Jacklyn is also survived by nieces, Frances (Dan), Catherine (Lisa); nephew, Harold as well as many other nieces and nephews. Cremation and burial (attended by immediate family only) has taken place.
