BILLINGS, Paul Murray

-

Age 60 of Bramber, formerly of Kitchener-Waterloo, Ont ., passed away peacefully in the arms of his wife and daughter on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Paul was born in Kitchener, Ont., on December 18, 1960. At the age of 17 in 1977, Paul became part of the Royal Canadian Navy, Halifax, as a Marine Engineer. After his honourable release from the Navy, he returned to his hometown of Kitchener and worked at Al’s Cartage for many years to focus on being a father and family man. In 2002 Paul, with his wife Sandra and young daughter Jade returned to Nova Scotia where he worked at East West Plastics/grimco until his sudden illness in 2019. Wife Sandra, daughter Jade and his precious grandson Elliott were his greatest love. Those who knew him understood his passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. His family knows he is now forever riding free through the clouds. There won’t be a yard sale in Heaven he won’t stop and negotiate at. He is now at peace and able to pull pranks and joke with his family members and friends in Heaven as he would with the ones he cared most about in life. Paul was a kind man with a big heart. He had a collection of Santa hats he would wear during the holiday season and give candy canes to the children that thought he was Santa Claus at the grocery store (and grunts to the skeptics). Paul’s family would like to give a special thanks to the Hants Community Hospital Ambulatory Care Unit and the COVID-19 screening ladies for the exceptional care given to Paul during his many visits and to Cara Mcleod from VAC for the outstanding professionalism, care and compassion to Paul and his family throughout his illness and final days. Final words from Sandra and Jade: “May you always have the sun on your back, your fists in the wind and the road stretching out ahead you. Let the eagles guide you through the mountain top. The most dedicated loving husband, father and grandpa. We will miss you more than you could ever know.” There will be no visitation or service upon Paul’s wishes. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, 4646 Hwy. 215, Summerville, ph 1-902-633-2431 or please visit our website at: www.allenfh.ca to sign the guest book and send private condolences. In lieu of flowers or gifts Sandra and Jade ask the following in honour of Paul:

“PUT YOUR ASS IN THE SADDLE, FEEL THE WIND IN YOUR BEAR DAND GIVE ME RV( PAUL) ONE FINAL REV!”
