Cindy Day’s seven-day forecast

CINDY SAYS: Are you ready for a cold front? Warm temperatures are one thing, but this muggy weather is something else — really only good for mushrooms and slugs. I'm watching an approaching cold front that will eventually wring the moisture out of the system. Before it pushes through on Thursday, we're in for sticky weather, pop-up showers, and a risk of afternoon thundershowers- especially tomorrow, as the front pushes in from the west. On Thursday, a much-anticipated wind shift to the northwest will usher some clearing and a more pleasant brand of air; Friday looks fabulous. As for the weekend, a fast-moving system will brush eastern regions with a few showers; the sun will return on Sunday.
