BURTON, Arlene Marie

It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Arlene Marie Burton of Weymouth in Yarmouth Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at the age of 89. Born to Carmen and Exenie Dugas of Ohio, April 27,1932. She will be dearly missed by those touched by her generous spirit and her ability to find humor, always worrying about others and not herself but mostly missed by daughters, Joanne Beeler (Donnie) and Nancy Baltzer (Rick); grandchildren, Dawn Deion, Caleb, Ethan Baltzer; and great-granddaughter, Grace Cromwell. She was predeceased by her husband, Ivan Burton; daughter, Lorraine Burton; as well as brothers, George (Claudette) and Agno Dugas. A very special thank you for all the support she had, especially at the end: VON, Homecare, Palliative care, Family 1st. A warm thanks to Sandra Cook and Debbie Brown for making it possible for mom to stay at home as long as she did and the special love shown. Funeral will be announced at a later date; COVID-19 provincial restrictions will be respected. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
