SCOTT, L. Joyce

Formerly of Middle Musquodoboit passed away peacefully at 84 years old on July 16, 2021. Joyce enjoyed her card games and darts with her family, friends and Captain Morgan. She had a colorful vocabulary and brought so many smiles and laughs to her loved ones. She was a hard worker all of her life and even in her later years, she could be seen mowing lawns and shoveling snow. She will be missed by her son, Greggie Scott; granddaughter, Megan Rutledge (Nick); great-grandchildren, Jarrett, Jemma, and Macy; Megan's mother, Tina Boyd; and her loving sister, Bonnie Zinck. She will also be missed by long-time friends, Shirley Hunt and Mary Kaulback. There is one happy dog in Heaven, we know her Boston terrier, Scottie was waiting for her. Thank you to the staff at Maplestone Enhanced Care, Fairview for the love and support they gave Joyce. Donations may be made in Joyce's name to the Nova Scotia SPCA.
