Young sailors drift into St. Margaret’s Bay

St. Margaret's Bay will host about 150 young sailors from Atlantic Canada for the 2021 Sail East competition.

The three-day event, with training on Friday and races on Saturday and Sunday, is part of a series of three Sail Canada regional championships that are being held in the Pacific and Central areas.

The regatta will include under-15 sailors in the Optimist class, U17 in the Laser Radial, Laser 4.7, 420 and 29er classes and open class sailors in Laser, Laser Radial, Laser 4.7, 420, 29er and Optimist classes.
