LUNN, Danny Mark

June 6, 1960 - November 15, 2021. Danny Mark Lunn, died of natural causes on November 15th at his home in Toronto, Ont. He was 61 years old. Born in Nova Scotia, Danny immigrated with his parents and six of his 11 siblings to Pepperell, Mass., in 1967 where he was educated. As an adult he lived in Florida. Danny was predecease­d by his parents, Lewis I. Lunn and Mary G. Thompson Lunn; and brothers, Gary and Murray F. Lunn. Danny is survived by his children, Daniel and Murray Lunn both of Florida; and daughter, Sarah Stewart, her husband Justin and grandson, Kayden of Virginia. Saddened by this loss are brother, Lewis L. and wife Joyce of Massachuss­etts; brother, Laurie T. Lunn and wife Susan, sister Esther Kalkman and husband Tony, and brother, Cyril Lunn of Nova Scotia; sister, Lorraine Hendry and husband Jack, and sister, Juanita Lunn of Florida; sister, Myrna Grace Lunn and husband Dr. Rudolf Bickel, and brother, Dale Lunn and wife Anna of Virginia; brother, David A. Lunn of New Hampshire; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Danny served in the United States Army 101st Airborne Division. He was a great carpenter like his father, grandfathe­r and brothers. He loved his family and he loved animals. He rescued many injured wildlife and nursed them back to health. He was an avid reader and kept current on local and world affairs. He was charming, had a wicked sense of humor and was quite a trickster. Danny was ill and suffered great pain in recent years. Due to global travel restrictio­ns, his family was unable to visit; however, they spoke often and he knew he was deeply loved. Services will be in Kentville. Arrangemen­ts are pending.
