KAULBACK, Frank Edward

February 8, 1948–October 22, 2022. Age 74 of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, passed away October 22, 2022, in the VG Site QEII after a lengthy 4 month stay. Born in Middle Stewiacke N.S., on Febuary 8, 1948. He was the son of the late Edward Carl Kaulback and Beatrice Pauline Kaulback. Predeceased by his brother Gordon, his daughter Julie Ann, and son Michael. He enjoyed spending time in the country with family and friends, "going on tour" in his white Ram pick up, spending quality time at his cottage on the Bay of Fundy where he enjoyed friends, and family. Fishing the shoreline, working on the property or just relaxing in his recliner and ‘counting the pine knots’ in the ceiling with his dearly loved wife of 40 years Terri (Therese) Kaulback. Frank Kaulback loved the outdoors, enjoyed hunting in his earlier years, gardening, spending time on his boat in the sun on Lake Mic Mac. Frank was known by his friends and family to be a sharp pool player. Frank was a successful businessman/owner for the last 25 years. Frank loved to work, even into his senior years he would not hesitate to grab a chainsaw, pick up a shovel for a trench, or jump into an excavator. Frank loved his family very much and proved it every day. Frank Edward Kaulback survived by his wife, Terri Kaulback; sons, Matthew and Drew Kaulback; daughters, Lisa and Ashley Kaulback; sisters, Katherine Morse, Mary Tyler, and Marjorie (Randy) Ferguson; grandchildren, Mack, Maddox, Mia, Greyson, and Mickey. Wishing thanks and appreciation to the caring 3A staff, ICU nursing staff, Doug in physio, Christine in RT, Drs. Danny French and Aneil Mujoomdar. A Funeral Service will take place in St. Peters Catholic Church, (10 Maple St., Dartmouth, N.S.) at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 29th. A Celebration of Life will follow from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home (217 Portland St., Dartmouth, N.S.). Internment at a later date for immediate family.
