SULLIVAN, Adrienne

-

March 3, 1986– March 15, 2024. It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce Adrienne’s untimely passing, a beloved daughter, sister and friend who left us unexpectedly, at age 38. She was predeceased by her father, Stephen Sullivan; and grandparents, Ruth and Cyril Sullivan, and Glenys and Roy Livingstone. She is survived by her mother, Pam Livingstone; brother, Joel Sullivan; sister-in-law, Heather-jean Matheson; as well as extended family. After attending St. Thomas University in Fredericton, and then studying natural nutrition in Halifax, Adrienne followed her dream and lived for many years in Vancouver, working in commercial insurance. She returned to West Chezzetcook two years ago, working in emergency dispatch. Adrienne was especially close to her late, maternal grandmother and shared her love of travel. She had an adventurous spirit and love of nature, which she expressed in her ceramics work and many Kintsugi creations. She had a true flair for fashion and home decorating, and enjoyed using her talents to restore reclaimed furniture. Adrienne was very personable and could make anyone feel at ease, and her ready smile could light up a room. She was a skilled equestrian, spending many hours in a barn or on trails. While she loved many pets and wild animals, bunnies held a special place in her heart. Her connection with these gentle creatures brought her much joy. Her care for animals was a testament to her boundless capacity for love and empathy, extending her kindness to all living beings. Though her time with us was cut short, Adrienne’s legacy will live on through the memories we cherish and the lives she touched. Adrienne is survived by her loving family, who feel her absence profoundly yet are comforted by the indelible mark she has left on their lives and the world around her. She will be forever missed. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Adrienne’s generous and caring spirit, please do an act of kindness for someone less fortunate. For those who wish, the family requests that a donation be made to Honey’s Bunnies Rabbit Rescue (Seaforth, N.S.), a cause close to Adrienne’s heart.
