June 25, 1999 – May 14, 2024

Middle Sackville

With aching hearts, the family of Trinidy Purcell must announce her sudden passing due to a related medical condition on May 14 at just 24 years of age.

Left to mourn, remember and love Trinidy forever are: her mom, Rachelle Purcell (If my love could have kept you alive, you would have lived forever); grandparents, Dennis (uppi) and Jean Purcell (nannie) (our one and only granddaughter, our little Trinny Binny Boo-Boo); Aunt, Elise aka Sissy (make me belly laugh till I cry and my Netflix navigator); Uncle, Bryce (multi-tasking card partner, stealth-like); and her beloved cousin and friend, Owen (always had a good joke to tell, Why are spiders so smart? They can find everything on the web.) Trinidy had many other cousins and relatives who loved her dearly. She had a wonderful relationship with her aunt Lynn, cousin Chrissy and her husband Joe and loved spending time with their kids Maci and Kayden. Trinidy’s favorite words in the world were: Christmas, birthday parties, let’s go shopping Nan, who needs Santa... I have grandma, Ozzi and Bean (her two rescued cats), horses, horses, everything horses, dogs, cosmetics, cooking, thick novels, video and card games (Queens), camping and swimming, history and writing. Trinidy’s unending and often unsuccessful attempts to achieve her goals were always done with hope for success and with full effort. It was her trying that made you love her.

Her dream was to help children with physical and mental disabilities through animal therapy with horses. Alas, it was not to be. Trinidy proved that you do not always need to have an untroubled life to inspire love.

Trinidy will be fondly remembered for her big heart and boundless generosity. She would give you the clothes off her back. She loved her family, especially her family dinners!

In lieu of flowers, you can honour Trinidy’s memory with a donation to the SPCA or Epilepsy Canada.

Cremation has taken place. A family gathering to honour Trinidy will be held at a later date.
