MOSHER, Marion Bernice

Age 81, of Ellershouse, Hants Co., passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on March 22, 1938, in Ellershouse, Hants Co., Marion was a daughter of the late Aubrey Fraser and Althea Mary (Cochrane) Spence. Marion spent her working career as a secretary at DND, retiring from NRS Newport. She was dedicated to her family, her church, "St. Louise Union Church", and her community. She is survived by daughter, Vicki Fletcher, Ellershouse; son, Dean (Deb Wheatley), Calgary, Alta.; grandchildren, Brett (Kaylee) Fletcher, Tyler Fletcher (Jenna Lee Reid), Jenna Fletcher (Evan Mapplebeck), Haley (Cody) Perry; great-grandchildren, Cody, Autumn, Halle, Bailey, Scarlett and Chloe; brother, Nathaniel (Brenda) Spence, Ellershouse; sister-in-law, Elaine Spence, Ellershouse; several nieces and nephews; special cousin, Helen Ross, who was always there for Marion; friend, Marion Ingersoll, with whom she shared a special bond; and Jean Ramey who came into our lives only two years ago and enriched Marion’s life with her kindness, dedication and loving care. She was predeceased by her husband, Roger; sister, Audrey Ross; brother, Laurie Spence; son-inlaw, Hal Fletcher. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Monday, December 16th, in Lindsay Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0. Memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 17th, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel. Celebrant Helen Lindsay officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Oakhill Cemetery, Ellershouse. Donations may be made in Marion’s memory to Haliburton Place, Windsor or the Hants Community Hospital Auxiliary, Windsor.
