IceDogs postpone games after injury
The Niagara IceDogs have postponed both of their weekend home games in the aftermath of a gruesome leg injury suffered by goalie Tucker Tynan during a game versus the London Knights on Thursday night.
Following a collision in the crease with a Knights player, Tynan was cut by a skate which caused massive blood loss. He underwent emergency surgery at a St. Catharines hospital.
An Ontario Hockey League release on Friday said the 17-year-old was in stable condition.
The IceDogs were to host Peterborough on Saturday and Ottawa on Sunday. The games will be rescheduled. (Postmedia)
