HIGGINS, John Edward

Age 73 years of Head of Jeddore and formerly Eastern Passage past away December 8, 2019 in Twin Oaks Hospital. Born in Halifax, a son of the late Edward "Ed" and Dorothy Lintaman (Walsh) Higgins. He was employed at CFB Shearwater from where he retired. He survived by wife, Sylvia (Dooks); stepsons, Allan Murphy (Gail), Tim Murphy (Wendy), and Doug Murphy (Colleen); as well as several grandchildren and Papa’s special girls, great-granddaughters, Kloie and Keira. He is also survived by sisters, Mary Warnell, Eastern Passage; Donna Langille (Buster), Chilliwack, B.C.; Sharon Simpson, Eastern Passage; Joan Cashen (Gary), Eastern Passage; Anne Higgins, Eastern Passage; and several nieces and nephews.
