BARTLETT (Lawrence), Kathleen "Sally"

Age 87, of Dartmouth, passed away on December 20, 2019 in Oakwood Terrace. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of Kathleen (Leither) and George Lawrence. Sally was a devoted military wife and mother of three. She was considered the family matriarch and was active with the CWL and communitie­s in which she resided. She enjoyed gardening, her knitting and crafts. Later in life she became the brunt of jokes by both sons. She was always able to laugh at herself and her many mannerisms they portrayed. Sally was quick-witted right up to her passing leaving many people to have doubts about her dementia. She touched many people throughout her lifetime and was especially close to her daughter. Sally will be deeply missed by so many. Survived by her daughter, Pamela Catherine Bartlett, Dartmouth; sons, Mark Joseph Bartlett, East Lawrenceto­w; Todd Edward Bartlett, Cole Harbour; sister, Janice Deveau and brother, Robert "Bob" Lawrence (Geraldine); along with several grandchild­ren, several greatgrand­children and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predecease­d by her husband of 63 years, Edward "Ted" Bartlett; daughter-in-law, Susan Bartlett; and son-in-law, William "Bill" Puszkar. Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2020 in St. John XXIII Parish Church, 35 Colby Dr., Dartmouth.
