LEEDHAM, Tammy Louise

May 23, 1966 April 8, 2020. Age 53 years old of Lake Echo. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Tammy. Mom lost her battle to cancer on April 8th, but not before she fought with everything she had. Mom was always there for her family and her "adopted" family you could say, as she was "mom" to so many and played such an important part in the lives of everyone who loved her. Born in Halifax, to her parents, Howard and Karen, she later married the love of her life Jerry on June 25, 1994, they then built a beautiful life raising their children, Natasha and Patrick. Anyone who met her, loved her and she loved them, one of her greatest joys however were her grandchildren, they were everything to her as she was to them. Mom also enjoyed heading to the field or the hockey arena to watch the ball and hockey games, if she could make it she was there. Tammy was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Karen Rice; son, Billy Lee Leedham. She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Leedham; daughter, Natasha-le; son, Patrick (Kristyn); grandchildren, Tyler, Kelsey, Harley and Hunter; sister, Cindy Rice; brother, Ricky (Annette) Rice; and her many aunts, uncles and nephews. Mom will be missed by so many but her love and strength will live on in all who loved and knew her. Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, until then she is home resting peacefully with her family. Our family would like to thank everyone who called, visited or sent messages during this difficult time, we would also like to express our sincere gratitude and thanks to the amazing doctors and nurses at Dartmouth General Hospital for helping mom to be as comfortable as possible.
