Peter Ivan & Joy Jean (Monks) Bond

Peter Ivan Bond, Age 74, and Joy Jean (Monks) Bond, Age 70, both of Portapique. Both found deceased in there home April 20, 2020.

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our loving father, mother, brother, sister, son, daughter, grandparents, great-grandparents and friend.

Peter was Born on June 18, 1945 to Harry and Doris Bond. Joy was Born on August 22, 1949 to Annie and John Monks.

Peter and Joy both retired were loving and caring people. They would go above and beyond for anyone that crossed their paths in life. Peter will be remembered for his sense of humour and his stories of the past. Joy will be remembered for being the life of the party, her beautiful smile, her contagious laugh and her ability to always keep it together for everyone.

Peter and Joy loved their family their two sons and especially their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There will always and forever be a void in our hearts with these two unforgettable, amazing souls that have been taken from us in this senseless tragedy. We will always cherish our memories with them.

Peter and Joy were so loved by their boys, Harry (Patty) Bond, Cory Bond; granddaughters, Tessa Bond and Tiffany Jollymore; grandsons, Ricky Bond, Kyle Bond; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Sophie.

Peter was predeceased by parents, Harry and Doris Bond, and sister June Collicutt.

Joy was predeceased by parents, John and Annie Monks, and brother Bloise Monks.

Due to Covid-19, there will be a service held at a later date to be determined. They will get the service they deserve. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you hold off until the service. Any donations can be made to the GOFUNDME account or left at Davis Funeral Home in Chester.
