Age 90, of Kentville, formerly of Coldbrook, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, in Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville. Born in Bridgewate­r, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Laliah (Johnstone) Frank. Isabel enjoyed walking around the gardens, going for drives, playing cards, and working on her many crafts, including knitting and plastic canvas, just to name a few. She enjoyed these, but her family was her life. Isabel would do anything for us. She really loved her birthday parties at Sylvia and Don’s and she also enjoyed seeing the babies that would come in to see her. Isabel would immediatel­y reach out to take them into her arms. She is survived by daughters, Gertrude (Phillip) Dryden, Somerset; Sylvia (Donald) Yorke, Black Rock; Dorothy (Robert) Creemer, Lakeville; Janet (Anthony) Fredericks, Waterville; sons, Fred (Jacqueline), North Alton; David (Cheryl), Kentville; William (Bernice), Welsford; Cecil (Cindy), Lakeville; Christophe­r (Ruth), Coldbrook; step-son, Leslie (Hazel Johnson), Hampton, N.B.; sisters, Lillie Veinotte, Kentville; Ida Kane, Lakewood Road; Jennie (Edward Davey), Vancouver, B.C.; brother, Frederick (Wilma) Frank, Blockhouse; several grandchild­ren, great-grandchild­ren, great great-grandchild­ren, nieces and nephews. She was predecease­d by her husband, James; daughter, Cindy; grandson, Andrew; and sister, Rose Thibeau.
