DOUCETTTE, Shawn Bruce

Age 48, of Enfield, passed away April 28, 2020, peacefully at home. Born in Oakville, Ont., he was the son of Bruce and Cora (Muise) Doucette of Ottawa, Ont. Shawn was a lover of the outdoors. He cherished his forest walks with his dog, Daisy, the ocean waves, vibrant sunsets and campfires shared with family and friends, telling stories and sharing his infectious grin. Shawn is also survived by his loving fiancée, Nancy Hillmacinnis of Enfield; triplet sons, Corey, Tyler and Keith Doucette of Enfield (and their mother Charlene Dunn) who were Shawn’s everything; his sister, Brenda Sheahan (Peter) of Ottawa, Ont., and her children Matthew and Jordan Sheahan; and the daughers of his fiancée, Madison White of Halifax; and Sydney White of Enfield. Shawn was predeceased by daughter, Faith, who passed away in infancy. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Quinan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chemotherapy ward at the QEII Hospital Foundation to provide healthy lunches and snacks to the staff and patients or the World Wildlife Federation.
