SEABOYER, Rev. Robert Lenworth

-

On April 27, 2020 with his beloved wife and children by his side, Bob took the final step from time into the presence of Jesus, the One he loved and served so faithfully. Beloved husband of Amy, his wife of 63 years; cherished father of Debra, Stephen (Michelle), and Loralee (Doug); devoted grandfather of Ashley (Justin), Justin, Christopher, Matthew, and Miranda; and greatgrandchildren, Cameron and Everley. Loving brother of Heather, Margaret Rose, Harold (Joanne), and David (Chris); and brotherin-law of Carol, Laurie (Ruth), Dale (Clay), and Wayne (Mary). Uncle Bob will be missed by his extended family, Shawn, Jennifer, Trisha, and Krista, as well as his many nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Robie and Margaret; his brother, Lynn; sister, Coralee; brothers-in-law, Raymond, Bert and Ervin, and Ervin’s wife Ruth. Bob was born in Lockeport, March 11, 1934. He gave his life to Jesus February 18, 1949. After graduating from Eastern Pentecostal Bible College, he served as pastor in Bristol Ridge, Lennoxville, and Havelock before joining the missionary family with service in Kenya and Zambia. Upon his return to Canada, he assisted Rev. Smith in London, before pastoring in Wallaceburg, Frankford, and Stirling. Bob retired from London Gospel Temple in 2002. Bob enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, music, carpentry, travel, walking, tracing his genealogy, garage sales and bargain hunting, and reading the Scriptures. He read the Bible from cover to cover once for each year of his life. Bob’s greatest passion was reaching those who did not know his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He wanted everyone who crossed his path to have the opportunity to begin a relationship with Jesus. Even when dementia clouded his brain, he still asked doctors, nurses, and caregivers if they knew Jesus, praying with anyone who had need. The family would like to express appreciation to the nursing staff of Scarborough Grace Hospital, and especially to Drs. Leong and Moosavian, for their excellent care of Bob, and for their kindness and consideration for the family. If you so desire, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Emergency Relief Development Overseas to care for children or to Stratford General Hospital Foundation. In 2016 Loralee started a fundraiser called Teddy Bear and Friends in support of new equipment for the NICU where she works. Dad was involved from the beginning of this project as they gathered plush toys to give to the newborn babies. He was present at the initial "kick off " as well as the first milestone surpassed and celebrated with the bonging of the gong. The care of children has always been close to his heart. Equipment will be purchased in his memory with any donations received.

"I have fought the good fight,

I have finished the race,

I have kept the faith."
