TALBOT

The Chronicle Herald (Provincial) - - OBITUARIES -

The family of the late Mary Talbot wishes to express our heartfelt thanks for the kindness and support we were shown following her passing on February 23, 2020. We were touched beyond words by your kind messages of sympathy, Mass cards, gifts of food and donations made in her memory. We are grateful to everyone who braved the weather and attended Mary’s funeral and reception. Special thanks to Sharon and Maureen for providing the readings at her Mass. To Father Jim Richards, Brother Nathanael Desroches and the community of St. Peter’s Church for their spiritual and musical support. To the staff at Micmac AAC for their wonderful help in catering the reception, especially Claudette Clattenburg who went above and beyond to fulfill a special request. To Shannon and Tony Quinn who provided the Irish musical backdrop at the reception - Mary would have loved it! To Mike for the thoughtful toast to a very special woman. We’d also like to extend sincere thanks and gratitude to the many medical professionals who cared for Mary in her final weeks. To the wonderful and caring nursing staff of 4 East at Dartmouth General. To Dr. Natalie Cheng and Dr. Parisa Shahrabadi for their compassion and professionalism. To the medical and volunteer team of Hospice Halifax for providing a most warm and compassionate environment for Mary and her family during her final days.
