STONEHOUSE, Jane Olive "Ollie"

It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Jane Olive "Ollie" Stonehouse, age 93, of Springhill. Ollie passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2020 in High Crest Nursing Home, Springhill. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Grace (Turner) Fawcett. If you were her friend, you were instantly a lifelong friend. A kind and loving wife and mother, she was very devoted to her daughter Susan, as well as her siblings. Family was everything to her. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she is survived by nieces, Catherine Harrison Smith, Ann Russell Rose, Elizabeth Harrison Damery, Margaret Russell Brundage, and Marjorie Harrison; nephew, Gordon Murray; brother-in-law, Kenneth Murray; several great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Douglas; her daughter, Susan; brother, Henry Fawcett; sisters, Gwendolyn Russell, Ruth Harrison, and Grace Murray; and nephew and godson, Douglas Russell. Arrangements have been entrusted to A.H. Brown Funeral Home (902-597-2361), 5 Mcfarlane St., Springhill. A private family gathering and Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
