PAQUET (Woodworth), Elizabeth E.
It is with sadness we announce the passing of Betty on May 2, 2020 due to complications with pneumonia and cancer. Betty was born June 17, 1938 in Kentville. She is survived by her husband, Daniel (Stanley) Paquet; daughters, Jackie and Margot; sons-in-law, Ron Clements and Steve Berna; grandchildren, Courtney (Craig), Ryan (Amanda), Scott (Valerie), Megan, Morgan and Jeffrey (Paige); great-grandchildren, Chace, Molly, Finn, Bria, Callum and Aubrie; sister, Carol and brother, Bill. Predeceased by sister, Anne. Married to a military CSM, Betty spent much of her life exploring other countries and provinces in Canada. She crossed the Atlantic Ocean by boat, explored Europe in a trailer, chased cows from her laundry in Germany and always made a home for her family wherever they landed. A wonderful wife, mother, homemaker and bank employee, she had a curious, inquisitive mind, a beautiful smile and an incredible sense of humour. She accepted and welcomed all friends and family into her home with kindness and generosity. She spent a lifetime dancing with her husband and spent the last years of her life with an unbelievable zeal to improve the man! She had a deep love for all animals but especially her beloved pets. She will be deeply missed and forever in all our hearts. The family would like to thank Dr. Lecours and all the staff at Charlottetown Palliative Centre for their kind and compassionate care, as well as Charlottetown Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to an animal shelter of your choice would be appreciated. As per her wish no service will be conducted.
