MARCHAND, Holly Leanne

-

Age 33 of Dartmouth, formerly of Port Hawkesbury, left us on April 30, 2020. Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of Allison Marchand, West Bay and the late Nancy Marchand (Warner). Holly was one of a kind and was loved by all that knew her, in both her personal and professional life. Her humble soul, infectious laugh and zest for life was indescribable. She brought compassion and caring to every environment she was in and because of these traits she made a remarkable and proud nurse. Holly began and finished her nursing career at Ocean View Manor, a place that became her second home. Doing what she did best ... caring for others in need and creating lifelong relationships with her peers. In Holly’s earlier days she was an avid member of the Cheer World. Starting out at PAJH when she was just 12 and fresh into the big city as a small town girl. Her family wasn’t just blood, it was everyone in her life. If she loved you, you knew it. Holly had many accomplishments in her 33 years of life, but her proudest of the them all was her three beautiful children. They were her world, her heart and soul, her life. With that being said, it’s with deepest regret to announce that Holly is survived by her daughter, Paishance; her sons, Little Wayne and Jace, and her plus one Bubby, Kamden; her siblings, Crissy and Jamie Marchand, both of Port Hawkesbury; her nieces and nephews, Peyton and Blake, Port Hawkesbury; Chance, Michshiya and Derico, Dartmouth and several aunts, uncles, cousins from all over Canada. Holly was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Gerald and Mae Marchand, and her maternal grandparents, Phillip "Ed" and Margaret Warner. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
