Age 88, Truro. It is with deep regret that the family of Margaret Elizabeth "Marg" Dale announces her peaceful passing on Sunday morning, May 10, 2020, in her home. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Frank Henderson and May (Dobson) Wilson. Marg was a devoted homemaker who loved her husband and children dearly. Besides keeping a meticulous home and cottage, she enjoyed gardening, quilting, knitting, cross stitch, sewing, needle point and tole painting. She looked forward to her bi-weekly ladies Bridge group. She was very fond of cats, especially Sylvester, who kept her company these last few years. Marg is survived by her children, Carolyn Dale, Penny (Peter) Neily, Jack (Sheila) Dale; grandchild­ren, Nicholas Dale, Jaclyn Dale (Kevin Mcmaster), Nathan Dale (Lee Ann Nash), Christophe­r Whitmore, Emily Neily (Cody Spidle); great-grandson, Daniel Dale; brother, Frank (Norma) Henderson, British Columbia; uncle, Bill (Mayola) Dobson, Dartmouth; sister-in-law, Florence Dale (Harold Snyder); several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predecease­d by her husband of 65 years, John Thomas "Jack" Dale; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wilfred (Catherine) Dale, Mary Maceachern, Nellie (Allan) Carmichael, Eva (Wes) Blair, Charlie Dale, Fred Dale. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Murray and Jennifer, Dr. David Henderson, nurse Angela Mcdonnell, VON nurses and Today’s Nurse. Private interment will be held in Bible Hill Cemetery at a later date. If so desired, donations in Marg’s memory to Bible Hill Cemetery or charity of choice are welcomed.
